WGPW's NEW PRODUCT LINE
· In January 2009 WGPW acquired the assets of Jet Turbine Service (JTS)
- Added immediate capability to service the LM2500® Engine through the addition of capable technical staff, tooling /equipment, inventory and shop & test facilities
· Comprehensive analysis of business completed late February
- Consolidate all shop activity in Jacksonville
- Restructured organization to support relocation and add expertise in areas identified as deficient
- Jacksonville facility improvements initiated with focus on LM2500® Engine product line
- P&W Quality / EHS programs implemented- Commitment to same “OEM” processes and standards in place
· Facility relocation completed April 1
· Test Cell improvements completed June 30
· Additional Facility improvements on-going |
